Kate Colby is the author of seven books of poetry, most recently The Arrangements (Four Way); and a book of critical poem-essays, Dream of the Trenches (Noemi). She received the Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America for Fruitlands (Litmus). She lives in Providence, where she teaches at Brown University.
A Public Space is an independent, non-profit publisher of the award-winning literary and arts magazine; and A Public Space Books. Since 2006, under the direction of founding editor Brigid Hughes the mission of A Public Space has been to seek out and support overlooked and unclassifiable work.
