Anne Elliott’s story in this issue is adapted from “The Stone Floor” in The Artstars (Blue Light Books). She is also the author of The Beginning of the End of the Beginning (Ploughshares Solos) and a veteran of the New York spoken word circuit, with stage credits including the Whitney Museum, Lincoln Center, PS122, and St. Mark’s Poetry Project. She now lives in Maine.
