Laurie Sheck has a new collection of poems, Captivity, forthcoming from Knopf next spring. She was recently a fellow at the Radcliffe Institute for Advanced Study, and this fall will start a fellowship at the Cullman Center for Scholars and Writers at the New York Public Library.
