​Jessica Francis Kane’s first novel, The Report (GraywolfPress), was a Barnes & Noble Discover Great New Writers Book and a finalist for the Center for Fiction’s Flaherty-Dunnan First Novel Prize. Her second story collection, This Close (also Graywolf), will be published in 2013. She is a contributingwriter for The Morning News.
