Paul Verlaine was an influential figure of the Symbolist Movement, and its later derivative, the Decadent Movement. He published over thirty collections of poetry. His works available in English include Poems Under Saturn (Princeton University Press), Selected
Poems (Oxford University Press), and One Hundred and One Poems (University of Chicago Press).
A Public Space is an independent, non-profit publisher of the award-winning literary and arts magazine; and A Public Space Books. Since 2006, under the direction of founding editor Brigid Hughes the mission of A Public Space has been to seek out and support overlooked and unclassifiable work.
