Samuel Amadon is a doctoral candidate in the University of Houston’s PhD program in Creative Writing and Literature. His poems have appeared in the New Yorker, and he is the author of two collections, The Hartford Book

(Cleveland State University Poetry Center) and Like a Sea (University of Iowa Press).
