Author
Kazushige Abe was born in 1968. He is the author of more than ten novels, collections of shorter fiction, and works of criticism. He has been awarded various major prizes in Japan, including the well-known Akutagawa Prize. “The Maiden in the Manger” is his first work to be translated into English.
