Author

Zarina was born in 1937 in India. She received a degree in mathematics before studying woodblock printing and intaglio. Her retrospective exhibition, Zarina: Paper Like Skin, was presented at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles, the Guggenheim in New York, and the Art Institute of Chicago; and her work is in the permanent collections of the Tate Modern in London, The Metropolitan Museum of Art and the MoMA in New York, the Menil Collection in Houston, and elsewhere.
