Author

Anna Piwkowska’s books include the novel lad ły wy (The skate track); a nonfiction book, Akhmatova, czyli kobieta (Akhmatova, or, a woman), about the life of the Russian poet; and nine books of poetry, including Farbiarka (The dye girl), which received the prestigious Warsaw Literary Prize. Her books have been translated into German, Russian, Italian, and Slovenian. She lives in Warsaw.
