Helen Oyeyemi’s fifth novel, Boy, Snow, Bird, is forthcoming from Riverhead Books. She was awarded the Hurston/Wright Legacy Award for her novel Mr. Fox (Riverhead) and the Somerset Maugham Award for White Is for Witching (Nan A. Talese), and in 2013 was selected as one of Granta’s Best Young British Novelists.
A Public Space is an independent, non-profit publisher of the award-winning literary and arts magazine; and A Public Space Books. Since 2006, under the direction of founding editor Brigid Hughes the mission of A Public Space has been to seek out and support overlooked and unclassifiable work.
